I looking for news on the new Middle Caribbean Fibre Network. Specifically when will they land and light the fibre to Martinique. This shoud enormously improve the internet connection from their to the world.
I heard it would be last December but I still gotten pings of about 300ms and that wouldn't be right.

Thanks for the tip! That certainly makes a lot of sense. Also, not flying around America's Independence day will certainly lower the ticket prices...
